The Greenway, the hiking in Gérardmer and the surrounding area

For hundreds of kilometers, hiking trails and marked trails stretch in the Vosges Massif Natural Park. La Réserve hotel, in front of the lake is therefore the best starting point for 100% nature itineraries and walking circuits recognized for their quality.

The Vosges Massif Natural Park offers different types of hikes which take into account everyone’s levels and desires. So, you will admire the view during a scenic walk along the ridges, discover a farm after a hike, or set off to encounter nature during marked hiking trails. You can of course follow the paths with the help of a guide. Nordic walking and trail running complete the options for walking around the waterfalls at the Saut de la Bourrique or discovering the Tour de la Merelle, to climb without moderation.

There are of course other types of circuits such as the famous Voie verte, made up of two tracks which leave from Remiremont and separate 3 km further to join Bussang, following the Moselle valley for 30 km, and the other which follows the Moselotte valley for 21 km. Bordered by magnificent landscapes, these trails are used for cross-country skiing in winter and roller skiing in summer.
