Gérardmer, the essential stopover

The Alsace Wine Route

The Alsace Wine Route is more than just a trail along which wine estates open up. That is, of course, the main attraction. But there’s much more to discover, and the team at Hotel La Réserve will be delighted to accompany you and advise you in your exploration.

The wine tourism in Alsace is first and foremost 170 kms of paths, roads and footpaths that criss-cross the vineyards and reveal a unique heritage. There are around fifty routes and circuits that you can follow on foot, following the rhythm of the information panels that tell you (almost) everything you need to know about the work of the winegrowers. Accessible to all, the entertaining circuits will also help you discover the treasures of the region’s heritage and landscapes.

Alongside the Wine Route, the Véloroute also allows you to cycle a number of circuits and itineraries to explore the region in a different way. Alsace has 2,500 km of cycle paths! The hotel provides free bicycles for all the family to explore the region’s cultural and natural wonders.

The hotel team knows the winegrowers well, and they are also our partners. We can therefore advise you and accompany you as you discover the vineyards, by recommending our favourites to taste the gems of our region, such as Riesling, Gewurstraminer or Pinot Noir.
